We're very excited and honored to welcome Del Barber for another world album premiere! His long-awaited new album Easy Keeper comes out this month and we've been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share some tracks and hear more about it and the day has finally come! Del dropped by to tell us all about it. Today we've also got some great new music, dedications, and some good ol' rock 'n' roll!
This show is dedicated to Jeremy who's celebrating his 11th birthday this week and our dearly beloved friend Dietmar who's under the weather again.
An unexpected detour had me arriving a little late for the show today, so things got going a little behind schedule, but we recovered well and played some great September songs, a few new releases, previewed an exciting upcoming concert, and got to some fine requests, including a tribute to Neal Casal, a real favourite of a lot of our listeners and friends, who left us this week.
The show was also dedicated in spirit to folk and culture icon Mitch Podolak. For the definitive tribute to Mitch, check out our friend John Prentice's show Planet Mainstage from this weekend
Last week we hit a milestone with our 800th episode, and that seemed like time to pause for some reflection. Every once in a while I start to wonder which artists, albums, and songs we play the most, so I do some highly unscientific calculations and come up with some interesting results. Today's show looks back at some of our most popular songs, albums, and artists.

A show so busy, we didn't even really have time to celebrate our monumental 800th episode (we'll do that next week)! We're back from some great summer festivals and shows with memories to share, we've got two exciting new Sunset Saloon shows to announce, more fine requests, and a chat with Hayes Carll, who returns to Winnipeg after a rather lengthy absence in September!
