Episode #920
Christmas may be officially done for another year, but there's been a lot going on the past few weeks, so we haven't heard many of our annual favourites, so today we pull out all the stops and play some of the essentials that we haven't gotten to and just can't go a year without hearing. We also ease out of the holiday season with some Christmas songs that... aren't, but you can get away with calling Christmas songs. Finally, in the tradition of holiday marathons of years gone by, we're stretching out and taking over The Love and Happiness Hour at 4 pm on UMFM and playing some of my favourite L&H H classic rock, guilt and shame-free, just for fun!

Episode #919
Some songs for the season today alongside some new music, some love for the local music community, and, sadly, we must pay tribute to another great songwriter gone too soon, as we listen to some of the many great songs that Cameron Latimer had a hand in.

Episode #918
It's the time of year for nostalgia, and we've got a heavy dose of that today as one of my favourite bands got back together this weekend, another let me know that it wasn't happening this year, and yet another is celebrating an important anniversary, so we revisited them all, heard some new music, threw in some token holiday music, and wrapped up with a bit of a tribute to a Monkee!

Episode #917
Sitting down to record this episode, I learned of the death of an iconic music fan in Winnipeg. We are blessed with an incredibly strong music scene in Winnipeg, but it's not just the musicians that make it magical, it's the venues and passionate fans that make it all possible. Well known among musicians, venue owners, and passionate fans, John Hak was one of the most visible and unique music lovers in town. Always down in the front row, dressed in yellow, clutching a notebook and dancing like only he could, John brought a lot of passion and spirit and touched a lot of lives. Today's show, and our dance party finale, is dedicated to him. Appropriately, there's a lot of great local music to come this week on stage and we'll preview a bunch of it. We've also got some new finds from Bandcamp Day and even a few festive favourites.
