Already the last episode of May! How the heck did that happen? We've got some songs in honour of the next page on the calendar, a bunch of great new music, and some classics that we dusted off, pulled out, and loved hearing again!
This past week Fly with your Shadow returned after an unplanned absence with a chat with our good friend Joe Nolan, and we had so much to chat about that it wouldn't fit on that show, so I've got some bonus content on this show today as Joe tells us about his upcoming album and why he's releasing it in a somewhat unconventional (but totally sensible) way. We've also got more great music, including another roundup of cover versions and some oddball releases that I love but not everyone will, and we end off with a set of songs about strength, faith, and hope, because a lot of us could use some of that right now!
With the NHL playoffs starting this week and our Winnipeg Jets facing tough odds, even the power of music might not be enough for us this year, but we're still going to try by playing an hour of hockey-themed songs. Following that, our usual roundup of great new music, including a whole bunch of new cover versions, which seems to be a theme this year.
Go Jets Go!
We've got another heaping helping of great new music this week, including more fun and unusual cover versions and a bunch of stuff from what is possibly the last Bandcamp fee-free Friday. In hour two, we pay tribute to all of the great mothers and maternal figures out there on Mother's Day, without whom, we'd all be lost. A bunch of mother and mama songs and our endless love and gratitude to you all!

Hard to believe, but it's May already! A celebration of May Day is in order, as well as some great Canadian classics, some new music, we celebrate Jim Bryson's birthday a little late, and a bit more of my recent conversation with Stephanie Lambring!
